Hello I'm reading as u can see from the top the last battle. I have C.S. Lewis fever!!!!This book is way better than Twilight. A donkey and a wise ape live together in a abandoned jungle. The donkey does all the work. One day they found a skinned lion's skin. they decide to try and pretend to be Aslan, but they get everyone thinking that they are him. Everyone wants to see Aslan, but ape won't let anyone see him. I will read on to find out more

I am reading The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith. It is about a girl named Elena who extremely beautiful and get any boy she wants, except the new boy, Stefan. Stefan just came out of hiding in Italy and tries to live another life. But Elena keeps bringing up thoughts of his past to him, so he ignores her. But so far, her mind is so strong, he can sense it all the way across the school! :D It's a good book! :)

My book is a funny book that tell about a young family that gets a dog. The dog Marley thinks he is doing good but he is really recking the house soon enough Marley goes to far and eats the chair. The family did not take it lightly the mom said get rid of him and the dad agreed but Cassie and her little bro Louie begged them not to but the dad put the add in the paper "Big Yellow Dog - a little crazy but with a pure heart free to good home" but anyone that came by always said no thanks. Finally the family found the right home their home when marley saved baby Louie from falling right off the refriaraton and then at that very moment the mom and dad agreed that Marley may be a pain but he saved their sons life so he deserved to be in their home.

Halo!!I'm reading Fairest by Gail Levine. I love this author. Did you know that she is the author of Ella Enchanted!!! Aza is born into the world singing. She was abandoned at an early age. Some inn keepers found her. They loved her and took her to their room and named her Aza. She grew up, but turned out hideous. She usually was not allowed to serve most guest who would complain. Sometimes gnomes stayed at the hotel. They thought she was beautiful. They loved her htun color to her hair. She has the best voice in all the land. She learned to illuse (through your voice to make it seem like it is coming from a different place). She is serving the misstress.

The Rise and Fall of Darth

I'm reading a book called "Star Wars The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader" by Ryder Windham.So far in my book Anakin has built a pod racer and raced it to help Qui-Gon Ginn earn money to buy a part for Qui-Gon's friends (Padme).As Anakin races he encounters a lot of problems.Sebulba almost made Anakin crash.Anakin won and went with Qui-Gon and his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi.Anakin grew and found Padme.He saved Obi-Wan and was captured.He kiled Count Dooku.So far it's a pretty good book.I think all star wars fans should read it.

This summer I have read the book, Summer of the Monkeys. By the title it sounds very silly and immature, but however, it is a very mature book. It talks about this poor family who needs money REALLY bad. The main character figures out how to get some money for his family. That way is to.....catch some monkeys. The main character found a sign at his Grandpa's shop that was advertising that some monkeys escaped from a circus when a train ran into a car. Just before seeing the advertisment he saw them in the woods. But will he be able to catch the monkeys and earn the award money for his family? Find out if you read the story!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Done!

I have finally finshed ALL the Diary of a Wimpy Kid's EXCEPT for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. Each story was very funny, but not so funny it was just boring and immature.

In the first book, you learned that Greg's diary is NOT a diary. It is a journal. You learned about the characters and their reactions to problems and physical stuff.

In the second book, the story was still funny and even though he has another DIARY, it is still a journal. You learned NEW characters and still are laughing your head off.

In the third book, the story was nothing new, but the problems. I noticed a ton of problems that started occuring for Greg. I feel so sorry for Greg.

CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I READ THE 4TH BOOK!

Dear Mrs.Dubnik,
I am reading the book Extra Credit by:Andrew Clements! I read for fifty Mins. so I will tell you about what I have read so far and the book has been good so far! what i have read is... A boy name Sadeed, was out side of a room with a teacher and some other people were talking about a letter from an American girl andwrite back to the girl but for Sadeed to help his sister Abby! In the hills above linsdale in that chapter it was about Sadeed's sister Abby going to gym class rock climbing. and that every time Abby got to that surtain point she always mist the grip for her fingers and she fell every time. After gym class Abby was talking about the incident that happend in gym. Abby also dreded spending six hours doing school work, she was also not that great of a student even though she was smart. Abby loved school she loved being on the bus with her friends in the morning, gym class, lunch, and also recess but she hated doing school work she really didnt care for it at all. durring gym class the school counsler came and got her. when they got to the room the counsler told abby that she will most likely got held back and be in sixth grade again. the counsler gave abby a choice of her telling abby's parents or for abby to tell them. Abby dicided to tell her parents her self. when she told them they were really really disappointed! Then abby told them that she promised that she would do her best and work really hard so she doesn't get held back, and Abby's dad tells her that maybe even if you work hard enough and do your best that doesnt mean you won't get held back! that is a little summary about what i have read in Extra Credit.

I have come to tell you about a book I am reading called Bridge to Terabethia!! So far it is so awesome. I have not really got deep into the story because I am a S.....L......O......W reader. But luckily I am a fast typer. But anyway, of what I have read I loved, but there is only one character I really know very well. His name, Jesse. Jesse is sadly the ONLY boy in his family. He LoVeS to run! He hopes to be the fastest runner in the fifth grade. One time he was, but only once, he beat the fastest runner in the fifth grade but he has never been able to do it again, my main question is that I have in this story right now is will he ever be the fastest runner in the school.

The Capture

I'm reading "The Capture" by Kathryn Lasky. It is about animals!!! It's about Owls. They totally rock like "Granite". This one barn owl named Soren was just born three weeks before the beginning of the book. He has a brother named Kludd and a sister named Eglantine.He was listening to his father tell a story about the greatest owl in the world. When suddenly, he falls out of the nest and when he wakes up his parents have left to hunt. He is scared because of the night animals could eat a small chick!!!!! Luckily a another owl spots him and takes him to an orphanage. I hope he gets out and finds his parents.

The book I'm reading is Amber Brown is not a crayon it is by Paula Danziger. There is a girl named Amber, at school in the third grade . Her hole class is going on a fake field trip to china . They have passport and ticket so that they can get on the plane. And of course there is a picture and Hannah is making fun of Amber's picture because she forgot that it was picture day. They start getting mad and Amber wants to hurt that Hannah because she is being mean and making fun of Amber's cloths.They finally get on the plane and they go through the what to do if there is an emergency and how to put on the sit beat. Then they are om the way to chine!!!!!

I am reading the book kingdom hearts.It is about a boy named Sora he is asleep in a time capsule but wakes up and he Donald and Goofy have to find king Mickey and Rikou. once outside the building they find king Mickey and he tells them to get on the train "the train knows the way". They come to a city that Soras' girlfriend lives in, they get with a team of people that try to destroy the heartless.At the end Soras' strength is tested with the key blade because he has to defeat some nobodies.

Bridge to teribithia

I am reading Bridge to teribitha. what I have read so far is about a boy practicing for being the fastest runner for his school and he has to sneek out of the house so he doesn't wake his mom up and get her all mad. when he raced the first day back to school a girl jumped in right when they were about to race. You will never guess he had got beat by a girl she beat him by like five steps I am not that sure but she did beat him.

The Nightmare Room Full Moon Halloween

In my book some kids named Ray, Bella, Rosa{who is awesome} and Tristan. They are invited to their teacher's Halloween party. They think it will be boring, but they are wrong. As soon as they get there their teacher locks them in. Their teacher is playing a joke on them, but they don't know. Their teacher thinks 1 of them is a werewolf. In the end it was all a joke,but during the time they were locked in Rosa and Tristan emitted that they were werewolves. In the last chapter it turns out that they really are werewolves and they want to eat Bella and Ray.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He also talked about how he liked his music teacher and how she was different from all of the other teachers and how he gave her a picture he drew for her and how he loved to draw! the first day back at school after lunch the boys were getting ready to run then a girl says that she wants to run to so when they were getting ready to run the boy says BANG and they rush off to the stopping point and, she beats jess. the boys start saying to him that they cant belive that a girl beat him. that is alitle bit of what i have read so far.

Hi I'm reading Rivers by Mike Dillingham. I can't put it down.!!!!! :D :O ;O ;D!!!!!!!!!!!Rivers is a diary of an Alaskan sled dog. His name is Rivers. This is a true story. OH I almost forgot to tell you. Rivers is BLIND!!!! The author took care of him and loved him. In this book A.K.A [diary] Rivers is living iv Alaska and no one visits him. They only visit his buddies: Tip, Nitro, Teacher, Brownie, Terror, Spot,Ugly[Who is not really ugly, but pretty cute], and Doc. Mike sees Rivers and falls in love with him. Mike starts a fundraiser to help pay for his operation to take out his bad eyes. Mike takes Rivers to his home in New York. He takes Rivers to the doctor. Rivers has to take pills. Mike stuffs them into hot dogs. Rivers loves salmon. Finally Mike can pay for the operation. It is successful. Mike has to clean Rivers eyes out everyday. Soon it is time for Rivers to go home. Rivers wants to be a runner in the sled races. Spot is the mean dog. He picks on Rivers and tries to steal his dog biscuits. I can't wait to read more.

fever swamp

The book I have been reading at schoool and at home was Fever Swamp. It is a really good book and it is a goose bumps so that what makes it a whole lot good and scary to read if you live near a swapm i would not read it. But the story is mainly about a boy that moved from florida in a brand new house so his sister and him goes on a adventure in the swamp and get lost and the they saw a man that chased them his name was the swamp hermit but they finally get out of the swamp and then that night this boy comes along and now they are friends now and he said "the reason they call it fever swamp is because the people in the old days went in and the next two days they came down with a fever so that is why it is called fever swamp".

p.s i have only read 8 chapters but i will soon tell what happens next! 10-3-2009

The book I read was Dawild, Dacrazy, Davinci. This book is a Time Warp Trio book about when Sam, Fred, and Joe go back in time and meet up with Leonardo Da vinci and discuss the book. The trio thinks that Leonardo created the book, but they are wrong. And while talking to Leonardo Captian Nassti comes up and forces the trio to become part of the army. So the trio has to think of some new ideas for war vehicles or they have to stay in Italy five hundred years ago and scrub toilets for Captain Nassti.

In my book so far I have read that at the beginning of my book was about her and her sister got a diary for Christmas! Their mom told them that young ladies should have diaries. During her kinda telling and explaining to me what happen during her everyday life she told me that some days sense she lived right above the place where her dad worked and held funerals they had quite times she told me this kinda because she was explaining how her and her sister had time to make the apron that her and her sister made for their mom for her birthday! Peyton played for Tennesse in college.while his brother played for Ole Miss.Tennesse choach Phillip Fulmer really worked with peyton to be the best qb in the Ncaa.Still today peyton Manning is one of the best qbs in the NFL. I liked learning about what eats what.Because i like sick things.last I liked how animals hunt. one pic I liked was the whale breaking threw the ice.it helped by,helping undstand how whales hunt. not like humans. The City of Ember

I am reading the book The City of Ember. These people called the builders build a city underground and make the people that live there stay for two hundred thirty years before they can leave. The instructions on how to get out of Ember are in a locked box that has a timer that will open when it's time. On the children's twelth year they are assigned a job they will have to do for six months then if they are good at there job they shall keep it if they are not good they shall be resigned. Doon one of the main characters gets the job of pipe worker and is not happy when he sees the generator.

The Keeping Quilt

Hi I have just finished reading the book "The Keeping Quilt." The Keeping Quilt is a book based on an immigrant who comes to New York to start a new life. All that she was is able to bring with her is a dress and a babushka. The quilt became to small as she grew on in life, but instead of thrown it away she kept it. The quilt has been passed down generation to generation and it'll always stay that way.
I have to say this is one of my favorite authors I've ever read about and my favorite thing about her is that she has always wrote all of her books based on her life.
I recommend this book to ALL AGES so have fun reading!!!!

Because of Winn-Dixie

I have just finished reading Because of Winn-Dixie today. It was a wonderful book. Kelsey Frost got me to read it by talking about how good it was and sharing some information about it. "Because of Kesley Frost" I read Because of Winn-Dixie!

During the book it has some real emotionally parts in it, from happy to mad and from mad to sad. Some parts you are real happy, like when Opal started making friends, when Opal finally got a dog, and when she gets to hear ten things about her Mom! Then there are some parts that make you feel sad, like when she loses Winn-Dixie (I will let you read the book to found out if he ever was found) and then there is parts that makes you want to rip your hair out!!

This book is written in first person point of view because it talks using the words, I, my, me and other keywords that represent first person point of view.

Things that repeat several times are the words Because of Winn-Dixie. Just about every chapter you will see the words: BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE! Because of Winn-Dixie........................Because of Winn-Dixie....................Because of Winn-Dixie.....................................!

The author uses descriptive words to create images in your head. When she talks about the dog, you can picture a dog exactly like Winn-Dixie. When she talks about her new friends, you can just picture what they look like!

I have no idea what I am going to read next, but I will keep you updated on every book I read!

A Series Of Unfortunate Events

Hi!!! I just finished a book called a series of unfortunate events . It was a really good book!It is about three kids that loose their parents in a big fire that destroyed their house. Their names are Violet,Clause,and Sunny Baudelaire.In this book they decide to run away from the village that is taking care of them after count Olaf tricks the townspeople into thinking they committed murder.oh and did I mention that they are threatened to be burned at the stake?
I highly recommend this book to every one who Reads this!!!

New Moon

i finished the book New Moon by Steaphine Meyer and it was awesome it had soooooooooo much action like when 2 warewolfs fight and when 2 vampires fight and one of them got there skull cracked open OUNCH you should defanitly read this book. ITS AWESOME but of course you have to read the first book to understand it and its called twilight.

Sealed with a diss

I just started this book it is a very good book! It is about how the clique girls discover the key to a secret room and they find out a lot of stuff about boys because they have a hidden camera in a class the boys have to take where they talk about what they like in a girl!
Imagery I have is when they see the big tv tht tells them the guys like feelings. Its a very strong image because i would love to know guys feelings.
The characters are Massie,Claire,Alicia,Kristen and Dylan they are all rich except Kristen and she is the only one who is not snobby she is very sporty.
It is a very good book I LOVE it I would recomend it to all girls.

I am currently reading a book called "A Stranger's Game." I've only ready about 60 pages but it is a murder/suspense story. A young woman with a very troubled childhood befriends a police officer to get him to help her uncover the murderer of her father. A crime that she was framed for. It is off to an interesting start.
