Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer

Dear Mrs. Dubnik,
For the spring reading tournament and reading response I read Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer. It is written by John Grishham and is very dramatic. It is about a 13 year old boy that wants to be a lawyer like his parents. He got his government class balcony seats to see a real severe jury. A man named Peter Duffy is suspected of killing his wife. He says he is innocent but no one knows the truth yet. Myra Duffy (murder victim) was killed by being strangulated. They know that Mr. Duffy was playing golf according to the club log. They think that he went home, strangulated his wife, got 3 hand guns, took a lot of her stuff, and left. Mrs. Duffy was on her way to a luncheon with her sister Emily. Emily tried calling her but she wouldn't pick up. she got really worried and panicked. When she got to Myra's house she found Mrs. Duffy dead. This book is mysterious. But, it is awesome. I think Mr. Duffy is guilty ( like most of the people in this book think).
