Uglies

Dear Mrs. Dubnik,
This week I have been reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. So, you can tell that this book is really old because Tally didn't know what a roller coaster is. Shay talked Tally into going to the Rusty Ruins and then took Tally to a roller coaster and there so a problem when Tally was on the ride. you have to read the book to find out what the problem is.
The main character is Tally right now she is a ugly once she turns 16 in a few months she will have to go into surgery and become pretty. Weird I know right. The person she hangs out with is Shay and Tally have the same birthday. Shay is ugly, too. Also she knows more than shay does on the subject of the Rusty Ruins.

Dear Mrs.Dubnik,
I have been reading the book The Truth About Forever. That's what sixteen year old Macy Queen has to look foward to. Her boyfriend, Jason, is going away to Brain Camp. She's stuck with a dull-as-dishwater job at the library. And all of her free time promises to be studying for the SATs or grieving silently with her mother voer her father's death. But everything changes when MAcy is corralled into helping out her mother's open house event, and she meets the chaotic Wish Catering Crew. Befor I sa yanything else you will have to read the book.

HEYd:-D

Hey guys. Miss you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uglies

Dear Mrs. Dubnik,
This week i have enjoyed reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. The reason why it is called Uglies is because the main charcater Tally is 3 months away from turning 16 and she can't wait. While she is still under the age of 16 she is considered ugly and lives in ugly town. Where it is always dark. On the other hand her best friend Peris, who just turned 16 lives in pretty town with all the new pretties. Pretty town is always lite with tower lights and street lights. That is what i have read so far.

The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants

Dear Mrs.Dubnik,

I am reading THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS
By Ann Brashares. So far I know that there are four best friends who's moms were friends before they were friends. Now the moms aren't friends because they have put their daughters first. Now that the daughters are friends that stay together and they have spent the last four summers together.
One girl, her mom, her little sister, and her friend went to buy her little sister a dress for the sophomore prom. Her friend thinks she has to buy something so she sees the jeans for $3.49 and that is including tax. She thinks she would get them. When she got home she threw them to the back of her closet and she thought nothing about them. Until summer comes around and she is about to leave and her friend wants something that was hers so she sees these jeans just sitting there and wants them. So she tries them on but her other friends think that if they fit her friend it wont fit her and it fit her perfectly. Then everyone tries them on and they fit everyone and they think it is magic. They only think it is magic because it fits all of them on the day before they go off without each other for a summer and their first time.
So they made of some rules and decide who would get them when. It is a great book so far and i hope it gets better.
There lives are great they have great friend what more could they ask for? This is a great book that shows that true friends stick together no matter what happens. They go through a lot and now they are going separate ways for the first time. Now i think this will show how true of friends they really are. I am excited to see what happens!! :)

Dear Mrs. Dubnik,
I have been reading a book called Buddy by Ellen Miles. this book is about Lizzie and Charles Peterson wanting a puppy. But for now they still are trying to find homes for the foster dogs that they are taking in. When Skipper a new puppy arrives at the local dog shelter with three new puppies, there's no room for them to stay.Lizzie and Charles think they can handle fostering a whole family of dogs, but then little Buddy gets sick.

Love,
